Decide on the site of the waterfall
Decide on a shape for the stream, waterfall, and pond. Mark with spray paint.
Start digging the stream, waterfall and pond areas. Dig the trench for the pvc pipe
Place a one inch deep layer of sand
Roll out the pond liner covering the entire area.
Cover area with river rock.
Place gravel at the edges to cover the liner. large rocks for decoration.
Place the pump at the bottom of the waterfall.
Connect hoses to pump to filter.
Fill the pond with water, plug in pump, and adjust water flow. Check for leaks.

Pond liner
Large, rugged looking rocks for edges
Shovel
Gravel
Water line (hose)
PVC pipe and fittings
Ground spray paint
Cobble or river rocks
Submersible pump
Chisel
Tape measure
Sand
